Don’t Sweat It - As He Is So Are You
You have known and believed the love that God has for you. God is love; and he that DWELLS IN love DWELLS IN God, and God DWELLS IN him. In this is your love made perfect, that you may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. [1 John 4]
Oh what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know Him. Oh beloved and faithful friends, now WE ARE the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we SHALL BE like Him; for we shall see Him AS He is. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He is pure. [1 John 3]
For you have been made clean [pure] already by the teaching He has given you. Remain united to Him, and He will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in Him. [John 15]
Just know, if the world hates you, know that it hated Him before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you: He has chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that He said to you, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted Him, they will also persecute you; if they have kept His saying, they will keep yours also. [John 15]
You know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate TO BE conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. [Romans 8]
So now, look unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and IS SEATED at the right hand of the throne of God. Always consider Him that endured such hostility of sinners against Himself, unless you become wearied and faint in your minds. [Hebrews 12]
Just know and remember that He Who is gone into heaven, and is now sitting on the right hand of God; and that the angels and authorities and powers have been made subject unto Him. [1 Peter 3]
How do we know? Because He also said, ... the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful. [Revelation 17]
One last note to keep in the forefront of your mind, who are you to judge the servants of someone else? It is their own Master who will decide whether they succeed or fail. And they will succeed, because the Lord is able to make them succeed. [Romans 14]
Remember He has said to you, a new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. [John 13] This means our enemies and those that belong to Him.
Hold fast to this, He said, Peace I leave with you, His peace He gives to you: not as the world gives, He gives to you His. So let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
[John 14]
So, since we/you ARE also seated WITH Him at the right hand of the throne of God, He has said in Psalms and Hebrews, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.
Don't sweat it, He's going to make your enemies your footstool.
As He is, so are we……in this world.
