Why & Which Christians Rebel by Kashif Daniel

Why do Christians rebel, try to change Christianity or hate Christianity, Many reasons but for the most part two main reasons have seen of this rebellion, 1. - for the love of money 2. - for the impurity of so-called Christians

1.      For The Love of Money

“It is” not good if “they” change religion for money, Christianity is from God, not from the world.

Bikers Prayers by Renee

Dear Lord, as I get ready to get on this hog and ride, just let me feel your presence with me riding side by side, Let us feel the wind together blowing across our face, don’t let me fail to see and smell the nature around me as I ride from place to place.

The Armor of God by Jason Graham (Part I)

The Armor of God is:

   Loin belt of Truth

   Breastplate of Righteousness

Shoes of the Gospel of Peace

   Shield of Faith

   Helmet of Faith

   Sword of the Spirit

Take Unto You

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God…” Ephesians 6 13

This statement raises a question about the armor that remains……..

Take Another Deep Breath And Agree In Prayer by Brenda Craig

My Confession

I wrote this prayer/declaration for a friend and in the process, realized I needed it myself. So many times we concentrated on where we fail, or what we are not. I decided it was time to agree with my father in Heaven about who He says I am.

When We Sin, Something Dies by Jonathan Bolton

I have recently figured out a few things. I don't know if it will make any sense, and it probably won't sound as good as St. Paul's writings, but hope you'll bear with me as I try to share my discoveries.
You can go without sin, but the devil is always nearby and does tempt us to sin. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
I've come to the point in my Christian life that I've figured out a few of the ways the devil likes to jump on me, or you could say attack, which really it is.

Friend The Holy Spirit by Kellie-May

Yesterday, at church, my pastor spoke on being baptized in the Holy Ghost. From there that while message spoke to me. I had to really think back and wonder, was I baptized in the Holy Ghost?

He took his scriptures from Acts: 1: 1- 11

Act 1:1 Truly, O Theophilus, I made the first report as to all things that Jesus began both to do and teach.

Act 1:2 until the day He was taken up, having given directions to the apostles whom He chose, through the Holy Spirit;

God Bless You by David Story

I had someone at work ask me why I always say God bless you.

Out of habit

Politeness

A nice way to part ways

He Gives Power To The Faint And Weary by Candace House

Isaiah 40:18-30

18To whom then will you liken God? Or with what likeness will you compare Him?(G)

19The graven image! A workman casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and casts silver chains for it.
'Do you not know . . . ?' God asks, as pointedly as Jesus rebuked the disciples when they too were found wanting in faith. What is He chiding His people for? Failing to remember that He is sovereign over all that happens.

I love the way the Yahweh's complete and seemingly easy sovereignty over affairs on Earth shines through in these latter chapters of Isaiah.

The Beatitudes….Christian Character  by Pastor Adrian Rogers

The Lord Jesus Christ gives us nine beatitudes, or attitudes that ought to be. They are not platitudes. They are attitudes that deal with Christian character. For a full text of the beatitudes, please read Matthew 5:3-11.

Christian character is what you are. Your reputation is what others think about you, but character is what God knows about you. The beatitudes don't say, "Blessed is what you have," or "Blessed is what you do," but instead they tell us, "Blessed is what you are."

Follow The Footprints Made In Blood (poem) by Elizabeth Frasier

Follow the footprints made in blood
They will lead you to a pool called Love
It's found at the foot of the cross
There is no entry fee, Jesus paid the cost
He gave His blood , His own life
The blood of His heart poured from His side

The Greatest Gift by Priscilla Wilson

The greatest gift you could give. Hmmm. What is it? Life. Not only life; but life after death. Unfortunately, you can't give life after death. Only God can. God gave us His son, Jesus so that we could have eternal life—in other words, life after death. But just because God is holding eternal life in His hand, offering it to you and me, and everyone else, doesn't mean that he automatically gives it to us. It only means we have the choice of eternal life.

Love vs. Sex by Justine

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year.

She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger.

A Letter To You From Satan Author Unknown

I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores.

You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful, I like that about you.

I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living. Fool, you are mine. Remember, you and I have been going steady for years, and I still don't love you yet. As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God.

The Measure of a Man by Barbra

A prudent man is truly a humble man. He has a proper view of himself and he is keenly aware of one thing; all that he has (gifts, ability and possessions) are from God. Without Him, he is nothing at all.

A prudent man also has a proper view of the grace of God. He realizes that he was lost without Christ and that all of his human abilities and achievements were useless in winning favor with God.

Why Read The Bible?

"Why should I read the Bible?"

Read the following Scriptures. Then, if you still
wonder why
you should read the Bible, you need help.

JOHN 8:31-32 RSV

31. Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed
in him, "If you
continue in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Holdiing On to Your Faith by Micca Monda Campbell

"Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." (NIV)

Devotion:

I read a story about a little girl who was very nervous at the prospect of her first horseback ride, even though she was to be perched behind her grandfather who was an excellent rider. As her parents helped her onto the horse, she cried, "What do I do? I don't know how to ride a horse! I've never done this before! What do I do?"

Under His Wings You May Seek Refuge by Kathi Macias

“……. Under His wings you may seek fefuge” ( Ps. 91:4, NASB, emphasis added).

I have always described myself as a “word person” and I imagine many of you have done the same. It is an awesome privilege to use words to proclaim God’s love to a world so desperately in need of that love, and we would be wise to do so humbly and prayerfully.

Your Not A Failure! (Poem) by Melissa

Your not a failure!
Satan just wants you to believe you are.
If God be for us who can be against us.
We are more than conquers in Christ.
No weapon formed against us will prosper.
The truth is alive we just need to speak it out of our mouths.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
