Climbing This Mountain ( Poem) by Betty Boldon

Climbing this mountain seems hard at times
Wondering if I look down will I see low tides
Falling scares me and I wonder how long
Will this mountain take to climb, in this day of mine.


You made me strong, but I feel so weak
How can I take this trip alone
will you follow and help me to quickly run home.


I fail so much, why stay by my side
Your love just amazes me, even when I cry


Oh how I long to be the person you want
help me see the true me you made
help me see your love so wide
how can I stand without this in my heart


I pray and pray you never ever depart.
