Discipleship
First we will define Discipleship
Disciple-A follower of some doctrine or Teacher.
Discipleship-A process which enables a person to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ and equips them to over come joyfully the pressure's and trials of this present life.
Do you ever wonder what it really means to be one of our Lord's Disciple's?
In Matthew 10:38 Jesus was speaking to His disciples about taking up their cross no matter what the consequences were, even if they face suffering or death for His sake.
Jesus prayed for His disciples and all believers
John 17:6-26
for the lives of His disciples reveal
His character, and He is present to the world through them.
A follower of Christ becomes sanctified through believing and obeying the Word of God (Hebrews 4:12).
In Matthew 24:14 Jesus spoke and said, And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
This was the disciples mission and this is our mission today. Are you ready to take up your cross?
It is a daily thing, to always take up our cross and follow HIm no matter what we go through we can see Jesus, and how He suffered for us on the cross (Luke 23:44-49), so we can spend Eternity with Him in Heaven.
In Matthew 28:16-20 our Lord and Savior tell us to go and make disciples of all nations,
So, my sisters and brothers In Christ
May God lead you in this journey,
May He bless you in all you do for Him, take up your cross and let's spread His Good News.
Matthew 28:19
19.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
