The Vision Inspired by God (Art) by Minerva Mucy

When I painted the picture of Jesus I was going through a depression. I had received a magazine about Billy Graham and in it was this picture and I loved it. But I put the magazine aside and forgot about it for a few days. Then one night while I was asleep, something woke me up out of my sleep. I didn't know why, but I couldn't fall back to sleep. I had a strong urge to paint. So I got out my paints and brushes and decided to try and paint the picture I loved so much. And to my amazement, I was able to paint this painting in one night. That has never happened to me before or since, painting a painting in one night was a miracle to me.. I guess maybe I felt that God wanted me to paint it. And that is why I love this painting. I love Jesus with all my heart and soul.. Jesus is the love of my life, I also wrote a poem in this time period, which was a very bad time for me with the depression. Here is the poem, which I wrote after a experience I had with a vision, that was meant just for me...Min Mucy.







THE VISION


I SAW HIS VISION IN THE SKY, AND I QUESTIONED WHY?

WHY THIS VISION SHOULD I SEE, APPEARING JUST FOR ME?

"TRUST IN ME" IT SEEMED TO SAY, "FEAR NOT MY CHILD DON'T TURN AWAY"



MY HEART WAS FILLED WITH INSTANT HOPE

NEVER MORE TO SAY "HOPE WILL I COPE" ?

YES I SAW HIS VISION IN THE SKY,

NO MORE TO QUESTION WHY.



FOR NOW I KNOW IN HIS SPECIAL WAY,

TO ME WAS SAYING "MY CHILD YOU'LL BE OKAY"

JUST LISTEN, HE'LL SPEAK TO YOU

HE'S ALWAYS THERE FAITHFUL AND TRUE.



HE IS LOVE THE PUREST KIND,

HAPPINESS, IN HIM YOU WILL FIND.

HE IS THE TRUTH, THE LIFE, THE WAY.

PLEASE ASK HIM IN AND DON'T DELAY.
