The Destination! - Walk In Obedience

Walk In Obedience by Pastor Elizabeth Stewart

Sometimes walking in obedience can be a hard thing.  Take a look at what Joshua went through to get in to the Promise Land. It took obedience by obeying God, that walking around the wall's of Jericho for seven days , one time every six days and seven times on the seventh day..

To top it off, Joshua knew he had to be tough on the Israelite's and tell them when they walked around the wall they could not talk or they would be killed!

Now remember the Israelites were known to murmur and complain.  Which is
why they where stuck out in the dessert for 40 long years.

Joshua had enough! He said they would do it God's way!

Day one must have been the hardest for all.  They could see was how big that wall was and how long of a walk it was to get around the Big Wall . Yet they would not say a word . Day two, they must have been thinking "hmmm these walls aren't as big as we thought but why must we do this"? Day three, the people had to have started to see cracks in the bricks and chips in them and started to think this could work   By day six, they had to have been thinking, "God can do this, these walls will come down". On the seventh day, they had to walk fast and in much excitement thinking "WOW we serve a Awesome God"! .

God will make these walls come fall down and we will be in Jericho . Their strenght grew in this.

Seven days from "It can't be done to God is Doing IT!"

Now just think of it.  When they reached the seventh time going around and knowing they can "Yes Jehovah, Hallelujah, Alleluia and Hallelujah" yelling Praises at the Top of there lungs .

Our God is Able!! It took obedience to see it though . Now what mountain are you facing ? Are you willing to pick up your Cross and truly follow Jesus and hold steadfast on to your Faith that GOD will make a way? God can't lie and as long as you believe you will receive . Don't Give Up!

May Yahveh our Father and Yeshua our High Priest and King Bless you and Keep you safe in all you say and do for Him .
